Privacy Policy - AdBloom
Last updated: 28 October 2026
AdBloom has no server of its own. When you sign in with Google, AdBloom gets read-only access to your AdMob reports. Those reports go straight from Google to your phone and stay there. They are never sent to the developer, never shared or sold, and never used for advertising. AdBloom is free and supported by ads on its own screens; see Advertising.
AdBloom is an independent Android app that shows publishers their own Google AdMob earnings and reports, with a home-screen widget. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google. AdMob is a trademark of Google LLC.
Your Google account and AdMob data
AdBloom asks for one Google permission:
"See your AdMob data" (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admob.report).
It is read-only. AdBloom cannot change your ads, apps, ad units, settings or payments.
With that permission, and your Google sign-in, AdBloom reads:
- Your Google account's name, email address and profile picture - to show which account is signed in, on the Settings screen
- Your AdMob publisher account details - publisher ID, reporting currency and reporting time zone
- Your AdMob report data - estimated earnings, impressions, clicks, ad requests and matched requests, broken down by date, app (name and ID), ad unit, country, ad format and platform
How it is used
Only to show you your own reports inside AdBloom and in its home-screen widget: totals, charts, comparisons with earlier periods and breakdowns. All of that is calculated on your phone.
Where it goes
Your phone requests the data directly from Google's AdMob API over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. There is no AdBloom server in between, so the developer never receives, sees or stores your Google or AdMob data. No person reads it.
What is not done with it
- It is not shared, sold, rented or transferred to anyone.
- It is not used for advertising, including the ads shown in AdBloom, and is never passed to the ad SDK.
- It is not used to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes.
- It is not used to develop, improve or train AI or machine-learning models.
AdBloom's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What AdBloom stores on your device
Kept in the app's private storage, readable only by AdBloom:
- Your account details - email address, name and profile picture link, so AdBloom can open without signing in again
- Recent reports - the AdMob figures last downloaded, so the app opens instantly and works offline
- Widget figures - the formatted numbers shown on your home-screen widget
- Your settings - the selected AdMob account and the widget refresh interval
Sign-in tokens are managed by Google Play services on your phone, not stored by AdBloom. Saved reports are replaced each time AdBloom refreshes, and are kept only until you sign out, disconnect or uninstall the app.
Background refresh
If you add the home-screen widget, AdBloom refreshes it in the background at the interval you choose in Settings (every hour by default), directly from Google as described above. You can turn this off in Settings > Background refresh.
Deleting your data
Because AdBloom keeps nothing on any server, everything it has is on your phone:
- Settings > Sign out deletes the saved reports and account details from your phone.
- Settings > Disconnect & delete my data also revokes AdBloom's access to your Google account.
- Uninstalling AdBloom, or clearing its data in Android settings, removes everything.
- You can remove AdBloom's access at any time from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Your AdMob account itself is not affected by any of these. If you have questions about deletion, email the address below.
Advertising
AdBloom is free and shows ads supplied by Google AdMob: native ads within the app's screens and an occasional full-screen ad when you open the app. Ads never appear in the home-screen widget.
To serve them, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares with Google your device's advertising ID, coarse device and app information, and ad interaction events such as impressions and clicks. That is handled by Google, not by AdBloom, and is described in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change that choice later in AdBloom Settings > Ad privacy choices.
Your AdMob reports and Google account details are never shared with the ad SDK and are never used to choose which ads you see.
Payments
AdBloom has no paid plan, no subscription and no in-app purchases. It shows your AdMob estimated earnings, but never asks for, sees or stores payment or bank details of any kind.
Permissions and why they exist
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet, network state | Download your reports from Google and load ads |
| Advertising ID | Used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to serve ads, as described above |
| Wake lock, foreground service | Let Android's background-work system refresh the widget reliably |
| Notifications | Declared by Android's background-work library. AdBloom does not send notifications |
| Biometrics | Declared by Google's sign-in library. AdBloom never asks for or uses your fingerprint or face |
AdBloom does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
Children
AdBloom is a tool for app publishers with an AdMob account. It is intended for people aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Third parties
- Google Sign-In and the AdMob API (Google) - to sign you in and read your reports, as described above
- Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK and its consent form) - for the ads described above
AdBloom contains no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK.
Changes
If a future version of AdBloom changes what it accesses or how it uses your data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described here and in the Play Store listing's Data Safety section.
